Ruger has expanded its 250th Anniversary Series of firearms, further commemorating the United States Semiquincentennial while celebrating the Company's longstanding tradition of American manufacturing. Each limited production model in this special collection is distinctly marked with the inscription, "Made in the 250th Year of American Liberty."

This collection now includes six additional models representing a broad cross-section of Ruger's product offerings: the SR1911 pistol, two Hawkeye rifles, the No. 1 rifle and two Marlin Model 1894 lever-action rifles.

Purty!

I bought the plain wood 10/22 because I like nice wood stocks. I bought the blue boat paddle 10/22 because I wanted the peep sight and looong sight radius. The 250th markings are just a bonus. They may (probably) add nothing to resale, not that I'd ever sell them. But it adds something for me at no extra cost.
