Ruger introduced its RXM series pistol last December, just before SHOT Show. A striker-fired 9mm that is compatible with most Gen 3 Glock 19 pattern parts but brings the modularity of a serialized Fire Control Insert to Magpul-produced grips, while being optics-ready with a Tritium front sight, it has a lot to offer for an MSRP of $499.

Now, Ruger has gone the extra step and is offering the RXM in a threaded barrel format for $70 more than the base mode

The gun ships with an additional, heavier 18-pound guide rod/recoil spring assembly that can be used to help tune the pistol to the user's chosen suppressor and ammunition.

The new Ruger RXM threaded barrel model runs an extended 4.5-inch barrel with 1x28TPI threads under a knurled protector cap. Note the co-witness height sights on the optics-ready slide. (Photos: Ruger)
