Good article on Ruger bringing back an old favorite, Marlin Firearms, great news for the lever action fans and Marlin fans.

Good short article Anni, thanks! Marlin's good rifle.
At the time surprised Henry Repeating Arms didn't purchase Marlin.

I am not the most patient person, but I respect Ruger taking the time to have all of the recently purchased tooling and equipment inspected before rushing into production. I plan on buying a 336 as soon as Ruger can get them on the shelves.
Am thinking they're going to do it right. By the sounds of the chatter, am thinking Ruger will do well with Marlin in bringing them back. Wouldn't mind a new one.

Been wanting a stainless catbine .45-70 Guide Gun for many years. Always talked myself out of it because I don't "need" a beastly thumper like that (same reason that I've never pulled the trigger on a "5 S&W .500 or a .338 Lapua rifle). But what the hell does need really have to do with it???
