Not the best weather for practice this morning. Brrrr...33 degrees but sunny and no wind. I forgot how much recoil a .45 has, even with a heavy, all steel pistol.
Used target-quality ball ammo.
Creepy, semi-rough DA. SA break is fine after the creep. I've felt better triggers.
50 rounds, 2 stove-pipes. One on the first mag, 2nd during rapid-fire.
Great sights which are dead on at 6 O'clock, depending on the dummy behind them.
For me, although I can hit my mark, and it's a fun range gun, I'll stick with the 9X19 or 9X18 for packing, because of the weight and follow-on shot accuracy.
Disassembly and reassembly is more tedious than most DA/SA pistols I've encountered.
It's obviously a very well-made tank of a gun which likely last generations.
BUT...I must say that my EG Makarov may not be the powerhouse this gun is, but other than that, it beats the S&W in every aspect.
Photos: The tighter group is at 10 yards slow-fire. The other is at 10 yards at one-second intervals. I couldn't control aim any faster than that.
