sar 48 ...4800 question import

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to, when sar 48 on imbel was imported according to serial number. I need to find out if it pre 94 or post 94, using the serial number. Thanks for any help. I live in massachusetts and need to verify one on GB.

I would call Springfield Armory since they were the importer.
