My concern is with the stuff “gumming up” if a firearm is cleaned and lubed then left to sit for a while. Years ago my son learned this that hard way by locking up an M1 Garand, a 1911, a 92 Berretta and a Smith wheelgun by f#^&lubing them and letting them sit for a few months. Whatever the carrier agent was, it evaporated and left a sticky mess that literally “froze” the actions. A real pita to rectify.

I got some oil with a gun one time that was supposed to be earth friendly, it was named green something, can't remember the name. been years ago. i used that crap on a gun after shooting one time and noticed my gawd this stuff smells like dog crap.

so i brought it in the house and put it in the safe and after a bit my wife says ok, did you track dog crap in the house? i looked and said nope. it's you or you crapped yer panties. that didn't go over well. anyway tracked it down to the safe and i remembered that crap stinkin. i opened the safe and it smelt like a bucket of sewage.

Took the gun outside and gave it a healthy bath and sprayed stench killer in the safe and around it. immediately went to the cleaning box and took the crap out and throwed it in the burn pit. what's funny is some animal dragged that nasty stuff outta the pit and carried it off.

No clue. I was searching and thought you might have meant Froglube, which I have tried, but then saw the green stuff.

Mine came in a plastic bottle. but that's it. i remember that label

I have always had great results with the REM oil and the Remington high temperature hinge pin grease. Be surprised how long that 2oz jar or grease will last!

Never heard of it. I use TW25 gun grease and Remoil spray
