Scope for Saint Victor 308 rifle?

I’ll be keeping it simple and dumb. More specifically do you have any fish eyeing at closer ranges? Where I am on the fence is should I get a 1-6x…. or 2.0<… I want to have something that 100 yards and in I can pretty use like a red dot. Going out further and up to 500-600 yards use magnification.

No, no issues at all that I’ve noticed.

I also have no problems using the 2.5x at close range, or even a little higher—up to 5 or so...I shoot with both eyes open, and just let the “Bindon concept” do the rest...no problems finding the target rapidly.
