Search Engine venting

How many times have you searched for something and got pages of crap that had nothing to do with what you wanted.

Im currently on a Mauser Broomhandle kick. If I search "Broomhandle" i get some gun related items and a lot of junk. If I search "Mauser Broomhandle", still other junk. I tried "Broom handle" and got lots of junk. It might not be so bad on a google search but I expect better on gunbroker and gun specific sites.

Ive tried using quotes and that helps some but not enuf'

Partially I blame sellers who dont know how to list their gun OR how to spell... because Ive seen "broomhandel" and "brromhandle" too

Its not just C96 Mausers, Im sure you guys have had issues too.

My computer guys tell me its because "they" want to put everything in front of you even if its not what you want, because you just might buy something else???

sorta like CVS as only 1 example, when they move things around in the store to other locations.

you know where everything is, but now you gotta start searching all over again, and learn the store...

makes you "impulse buy" for items you did not need or want that day.

Our local Giant grocery store does this every 30 days. I dont mean further down the same isle. I mean isles away. That's why most seniors spend to much time in the store and miss the bus back to the nursing home. Cereal is now next to batteries. If they keep it up I'll shop at another store.

Giant there, is Stop & Shop here, same owner of the 2 stores. (you may have known that, but others may not)

however, frankly here at Stop & Shop, they don't do that as much...CVS is the biggest PITA for that

Must be the browser. I type in Mauser Broomhandle and get nothing but pistol information. Mauser c96
Yes but it only includes guns listed as Mauser C96 and leaves out ones just listed as Broomhandles. No doubt thats the sellers issue and frankly Im pretty confident many sellers dont know what they have...but I just did a quick search for Broomhandle and got a Nazi shirt, a ww1 helmet, 8x57mm ammo. an assortment of 1969 hunting magazines, loading data for 9mm, and vertical grips.

Or the search engine. Yahoo! Search wouldn't be my preference, for example.
Haven't used yahoo since dial up. I was responding to this post

But this is what I did find. Why its called a broomhandle, average cost 5k to 7.5k most expensive I saw was 25k. A few places that sell parts, holsters etc. But yeah I wouldn't use Yahoo either.
