Moderate to severe has been the mantra here in Tucson and Phoenix. And most of the West is the same. We aren't getting the snow packs in the Rockies etc. Rainfall here has been around 7-9 inches each year, but the last couple of years, we have had less than half of that
Same same here in S. Utah. However, the winter storms are “supposed to” be severe, so hopefully the snowmelt in Spring will be heavier than normal. We are only 150 years from pulling out of the Little Ice Age, which lasted 500 +/- years. More heat to come!
