Yesterday I inserted a new loaded SGM magazine into my CMMG Banshee and the magazine fell apart, baseplate, spring, ammo, follower and ammo flew in several directions. I reached out to SGM by email and sent photos of the pieces. They are sending me a new magazine today. Thumbs up to their customer service.

I've had three of them break in the 45, the 9mm don't give much trouble. seems the extra weight in the 45 breaks them easily. i won't buy another one in 45. their springs are too weak too push the weight up too. think they use the same spring as in the 9mm. good they have good CS cause they need it.

What broke, the baseplate?

Two of them the baseplate broke and one the feed lip broke. also have two that the springs won't push the ammo up.
