Shipping problem

Earlier last week I ordered a Sig Romeo7 from Amazon because the price was good AND they said it would be delivered in 3 days (TODAY). Last nite I got an email saying it was delayed and wont be here for another 5 days. Now I know Jeff just got married to a HOT young wife; but he has always been good to me; many times delivering it the same day. My issue is if I try to leave a poor review, they block it because they say the review is only for the product.

Say what you will about Jeff and Amazon but the man has conquered the logistic maze. He was my buddy but now that he has this hot wife, hes ignoring his friends
 
i had Amazon Prime...at like $140.00 per year, for that free shipping crap.

many times, not just once, i'd order something with the promise of next day delivery

i NEVER got next day delivery

i would call, and get an apology, nothing else.

i tried maybe 3 more times for the promise of next day delivery...

"Jeffy"...never delivered next day...

i dropped Amazon Prime, removed my credit card info

and have not ordered from Amazon now in over a year.

but before that...???

the wife and i would have an Amazon truck here nearly weekly.

break a promise to me ONCE, shame on you

break a promise to me more than once..??

shame on me

🤣 first name basis with bezos. That cracked me up. At first i was wondering who “jeff” was.

I have Prime because I want the video access. Honestly the delivery by next Tuesday is what I would have expected from any other source, so I guess Im just jealous of Jeff because she turned me down to be with him...

I’ve been getting this a lot lately with optics from Amazon.

5-6 year age (56 vs. 62) difference, & full of Botox & bad plastic to stop an armor piercing round isn't a hot young wife.
 
Optics (and other electronics), make sure to check where it’s shipping “from”. Many things ship from other places than an Amazon Warehouse and my experience has been those are the things that are inevitably delayed or never show up. Stuff shipping from a store named qqqssebuymeI or similar will likely have issues.

I always try to find what I want that reads “sold by Amazon” and ships “from Amazon” under the item price. Once in a while I’ll order from a manufacturer’s store front - BUT not until I check if it’s cheaper on the manufacturer’s web site, which has happened a few more times than once…

I have never had a delivery issue with a sold by Amazon/ships from Amazon listed product, unless I ordered it really close to the “if ordered in the next xxx hours” deadline - and I figure that’s on me.
