Hi,

Another tragedy. My prayers go out for all involved. I'll be interested in the details as they are reported. It seems the perp has been "neutralized" with perhaps two LEOs and a nurse wounded. Another article said five others were treated at another facility five miles away but no details on any injuries.

In other news, there was another shooting early Saturday morning at an air base in New Mexico, one airman killed and another wounded. Not yet a lot of details on that either.

My wife used to work at UPMC in PA, though, not this one. She contacted her friend who still works there and the all of the UPMC Hospitals were on alert. For those who don't live in PA, UPMC (aka University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) have a monopoly on the healthcare system in almost all of mid-western, and some in central Pa. They are a huge corporation.
