The Mossberg Shockwave introduced an entirely new genre of firearms for us to enjoy. These short firearms chambered in shotgun cartridges quickly became some of the most popular guns on the market. They’ve continued to evolve and, arguably, have regained popularity due to the Mossberg 990 Aftershock and the IWI Mafteah. Both fall into the same short-barreled firearm category, and both are quite popular. Here’s the thing: these shorties can be tough to handle.

Pistol-grip only firearms are all the rage these days. Today, we are going to talk about how to shoot these shorties.

Officially the OTHER class isnt supposed to be concealed; but I doubt if any LEO knows that or would know how to charge if you were caught carrying one in a bag. FEDs maybe not not most local guys.

That being said I LOVE short shotties, they can be game changers
 
For the life of me I can’t conceive of how these are “legal” yet if I was to saw off the barrel on one I own it’d be illegal. Frankly I don’t get the whole genre of shotgun pistols. I’m sure it’d be effective at short range, and equally sure it’d be hard to hit a barn door at 50 yards. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Definitely an intimate social encounter gun, although you can get a surprising degree of accuracy with practice

Well first what shotgun (not slugs) has a combat dense and bystander safe pattern at 50 Yards?

The legal difference is that a "shotgun" by definition is a shoulder fired weapon. IF it starts by leaving the factory with a stock then its a shotgun. The Shockwaves and Rem Tac-14s and others left the factory with just a pistol grip, so they dont require a 18" barrel as long as they have an overall length of 26 inches

These are definitely close in weapons; but devestating in their realm. Think of them like a Battle Axe. They work for some but not others

I understand fully-and I was thinking slugs at longer range. I’m just amazed at the stupidity of laws involved. I’m thinking factory “sawed off” AR “pistols with a “brace” vs identical with a “stock”, AR’s being “anssault rifles” vs Mini 14’s that aren’t etc. You don’t have to look very hard to figure out that the characters that write these rules don’t have the first clue about firearms. They come up with stuff that sounds good to the other drones who are equally ignorant with zero idea about how things work in the world.

Im not sure to which, definition of assault rifle you are referring where an AR15 is and a Mini 14 isnt. The term Assault Rifle has been basterdized by both ends of the gun control community not to mention a complete disregard of history

It wasnt that long ago where a politician referred to the "hangie down thing with the pointy end" Of course they dont have a clue; but if they ever do, we're in real trouble

AND we do it to ourselves...IS the muzzle device on a M16 (with the closed bottom) a muzzle break because it diverts gas upward OR a flash hider? We call it a flash hider and it gets vilified by the left but it sounds cooler to gun guys. Maybe we should start marketing things as rainbow pink petunias, suitable for all persuasions and personal choices; then when they want to ban them, we could point out there Hatred and Intolerance.

Well the AR is (shudder) black, has a pistol grip thingies and a couple funny thingies on the skinny end. The Mini on the other hand is much safer cause it’s wood and steel and doesn’t have those awful scary thingies🙄. Idiots I tell you👍
