Should You Choose a Pump-Action or Semi-Automatic Shotgun for Home Defense?

27 pellets v 9 pellets. Definitely wider, more likely to have fliers and more pellets to keep track of.

I can see situations I would prefer 27 pellets over 9 though. It depends on the distance.

Even thought I'm not really into shotguns for home protection, I can see an advantage I think in more pellets per round.
