This is my little buddy. Now 12+ years of age and about 80% blind. Service dog and fearless. Probably last in the line of little (20#) dogs I have had. Never had a bad dog over 70+ years.

In order to have more peace in my life, I eliminated the stressors in my life. One of the criteria is the dog factor! Dogs bring me more joy and laughter than do cats, or their humans!

Jester was my most beloved pet ever. Through all of my illness, he stayed by my side. When I was about to have a seizure, he knew before I did and would let me know. The kindest, most gentle soul ever. I miss him dearly.

That's a fact. My little brown guy LOVES everyone. He plays with everyone at the pup park and always wants to make a new friend. Never barks at anything. I always thought he'd be pretty much worthless for home protection. But when his guard hairs go up and he alerts to someone, I pay very close attention. The first time he took a disliking to someone, I was absolutely shocked and all doubts of his commitment to protection disappeared immediately.

Hell yes it counts. We have a cat that sleeps with our dogs, begs for food with the dogs and overall acts like a dog. If only he would start barking

When we have the tv on, and the news is showing a suspect, or on patrol live is showing one, our Rottie Phoebe will see the suspects picture and stand up and bark like mad. We are convinced that she can pick out evil people even on television.

Opie, my white German Shepard, will howl at the whistling of the Andy Griffith Show theme song. And he will also howl at a certain local Toyota car dealership commercial that features the owner of the dealership. I guess he hates car salesmen! lol I really need to video it, as he does this every time those things come on tv. It's hilarious!
