Just my thoughts, this thread needs to stop, if you don’t like the 320 fine, if you do like the 320 fine, but to keep going back and forth on this subject is getting old, yes, there may or may not be an issue with the 320, yes it’s very sad situation that a person died possibly over an incident with it, but to keep going on about it will serve no purpose, there are several other threads on the 320, we get it
I still have a Wilson Super Sentinel (.38 Super 3.6” 1911) that I occasionally carry cocked and locked. I think it’s my current “in possession” gun with most rounds downrange … 1394 (thirteen hundred and ninety four). I find it easy to carry and a joy to shoot!Remember that the newest/latest/greatest thing is not always an improvement. Change should be made to give more positive results. Change just for the sake of change is never a good idea. I’ll say again, the 1911 served longer than any handgun in US history (or maybe even history in total-certainly among modern pistols). Has anyone ever heard of a cocked and locked .45 going off by itself? Yea, me neither.
The 1911 is a great gun. However here is some histoey I learned from Tom Givens at Rangemaster Advance Instructor classRemember that the newest/latest/greatest thing is not always an improvement.
