Just tried a new sight paint i picked up from Amazon. We'll i think its new to me, i had some sight paint but could not find it, probably dried up anyways. Could have been same, who knows.

I see green better than other colors on my front sight. This looks really nice so far once it dry will try the glow part.

I’m not quite sold on green for sights.
It matches the hair color of all the blue city folks roaming around and blends in to much when acquiring the target 🎯😏

And its not a matter of liking green over orange, as my watchbox shows i greatly prefer orange over green in some things. And you should have seen the toys i had as a kid Dozens were colored with orange El Marco marker.

I’m about to order some of that Glow On - I posted a good while back about my Springfield garrison; the front sight white dot popped off at the range. I never did anything about it.
It has the round indent on the sight blade where the white was.
Whats the best way to apply Glow On? Fine brush? Droplet off a toothpick?
How runny is it?

I used a toothpick, its a bit smoother than say hot sause it does not seem to run. I put a light coat on the sight then laid the pistol on its side and let it dry then repeated several times

Glow on has been around for a lot of years. That's what's on all my pistols and my wife's revolver. A little sunshine or high intensity flash light before you go onto dark room

That glow on works well, but it’s expensive. I bought glow in the dark paint same color probably two or three times the amount at a hobby store for maybe three bucks I can’t remember. I put a dab of white paint on the site and then the glow in the dark paint holds up well and works good stays illuminated for 15 minutes or more.
