Sights for SA Ronin

Own a SA Ronin 9mm 1911 It has fixed rear sites thus can only move for windage not elevation Looking for assistance re finding a non fixed rear site This pistol has a Novak cut however believe Springfield adjust this Normal Novak cut to their own detail Without getting this pistol getting cut from a gunsmith Hoping someone knows if there is an adjustable site that a company makes that will fit -without sending to gunsmith Do a lot of searching but as yet no luck Live in Australia Thanks

My Ronin came with the adjustable rear sight. They are very nice pistols. I think you are correct that their "Novak" cut is not "standard", perhaps LPA? Before I let too much of my ignorance show, I found this discussion on the Bullseye forum that talks about adjustable sight options for the 9mm Ronin.

I have a Springfield Armory Ronin 5" 9MM. I dropped one of those $39.99 surplus Sig 1911 38 Super barrels into it. Actually it shoots pretty good for a drop in

Cliff, I was unaware that any Ronins “came with” adjustable rear sights, as in from the factory…???
Was your NIB ? Or maybe an upgrade package offer (ex: Ed Brown does a Fueled Garrison now).

I wanted to give you a little more information about my Ronin with the adjustable rear sight. It's a model called the "Range Officer' that I bought from Palmetto State Armory when they were having a sale. I don't see this model on the Springfield website any more. Maybe it's been discontinued. I'm glad I picked it up when I had the chance.
