I have the opportunity to buy a S&W 6904 with two mags for $320..... It is in good(?) -ish condition. I mean I have a 6906 now. I would like another. .....I really want to pull the trigger on this, so I can pull the trigger on this. BUT I HAVE ONE. But this one could use some TLC.............................................. aaaarrrgh!

Myself, yea, if you got the funds definitely.

They always say that two equals one. Between the two guns, even if everything goes to the Handbasket, you will be able to keep one of them up and running! Think of it as End Of The World As We Know It insurance! And you would be crazy not to have insurance, right? (yeah, I justify basically every gun as a desperate need and must have. Helps me sleep better at night)

Smith & Wesson semi-autos are highly under rated and often simply ignored. They're good guns that just don't get a lot of press coverage.
$320 would be a good price on one in good-very good condition. You indicate that this one is a bit rough. I'd haggle a bit if you can. ;)
