So I been looking at some guns pick up a Walter I didn’t like the feel at all . Was going to get the girsan my14 t but not being able to remove the slide turn me off plus I don’t have a problem pulling the slide don’t need the pop up barrel . So I ended up really liking the full size mp felt perfect in my paws do I got it today very happy

i have only 1 m/p 9 (mod1) i've had since '15 or '16 and no complaints! now for how many mod2's (2.0) i have......................iirc 6 or 7?......................2 45acp, 2 10mm, 2 or 3 40s/w (2 converted to 357sig). backstrap change and i'm good! disassembly w/o pulling the trigger can be done.

My 1st 2.0 was the 4" 10mm w/manual safety. Thought I'd like it that way, but still on the fence about it. Flat trigger seems to be ok.

I have had several M&P’s (6) from 1.0 to 35 I liked so much I bought a 9 (free agency ammo) I sold my 45 and regretted it. I picked up a 9c bought my Daughter a 9c then 2 2.0 45’s full size and a compact.

So to say they are my favorite striker fired pistol is an understatement

I recently picked up a 2.0 metal HD (the steel frame) and it’s a great shooter BUT I had to send it back to S&W as it had a split in the slide I discovered when I did my first cleaning after 500 rounds. I didn’t want nor pay for a port so they are fixing it LOL

Some I've kept the factory flat trigger in and some i changed to timney. I might try an apex, but none yet.

My S&W’s… I put Apex triggers in the M&P45 and M&P9 (2 on the left). I really like the Apex. The Shield Plus (lower right) has the flat-face trigger like you have. I must admit that, although better than the “hinge trigger”, i am not a big fan and will swap it out for another Apex trigger (just the trigger, not changing springs).
Shoot it first before changing it. Some people really like them.
All in all, i have a few thousand rounds through the 9 (maybe 4000-5000?) and probably 1000 through the 45 with zero failures.
Solid choice you made.

I don't change triggers because of bring a trigger snob complaining about how terrible they are, only changed a few just for testing against other handguns in the same model and cartridge to sof it makes any difference on accuracy or my fire rate to target acquisitions

I personally own 11 M&P 2.0's from the Shield + to the Full Comped 10mm and have zero complaints. Best part is they will digest any round I have ran through them. Enjoy the new purchase, Shoot Safe and Shoot Often

Yes it does it’s also optic ready but I really like the sites on them now

@javbike I put night sights on all of mine but the 3-dot sights that it came with were perfectly fine.
Are you thinking of putting an optic on it? I bought an aftermarket optic ready slide put a holosun on my shield plus. I like it but need to practice with it.

Are you thinking of putting an optic on it? I bought an aftermarket optic ready slide put a holosun on my shield plus. I like it but need to practice with it.

I don’t know I am just started to mess with red dot for I have a cz sp01 with a plate not milled running a holsun 407 c I think I like it still need a lot practice not sure I love it do I will shoot it stock for a while and decide later
