choices although 1 is iron sights and the other is an optic.......don't think truglo makes rds's, but does make tube type.

TRUGLO are the sights I use and Holosuns are the optics I use. I have guns that had the optic mounted after the night sights had been installed. I am new to the optic game.

For my shield plus i won’t put night sights on it with the optic. Too distracting from the green dot. I may actually black out the front sight.

My usual EDC is a 9 mm 2.0 Compact fitted out with an APEX trigger and Ameriglo night sights.

You can not do better than a Gen 2 M&P, and the model doesn't matter

Strong M&P fan. My daily is Shield X and my backup is a Bodyguard 2.0. My first pistol was a first-gen Shield. I think the M&P grips/grip angle are the benchmark other pistols should be compared against. They just feel so natural in the hand to me.

I prefer shooting 1911's so the M&P 2.0s work great for me since both have 18* grip angles. Been very lucky and really no mechanical issues. When it comes to Polymer guns the M&P is a clear winner for me

Talking about grip angles when I pick up the new Walter don’t know which model it was large and very bulky feeling nice looking gun pdp full size model something like that no thanks mp feels so natural
