So Still Not the Criminal’s Fault They Pulled the Trigger

Now they’re going to try and shut down technology advances to blame everything BUT the criminal for illegal gun violence…

“ATF received approximately 45,240 reports of suspected privately made firearms recovered by law enforcement” between 2016 and 2021.”

“Only 186 cases involved 3D printing, of which 14 were fully printed firearms like the Liberator.”

2018 – Aberdeen, Maryland
Snochia Mosley, a transgender man, killed three co-workers at a Rite Aid distribution center before dying by suicide, authorities said.

2019 – Highlands Ranch, Colorado (STEM School Highlands Ranch)
Alec McKinney, a transgender student, and Devon Erickson carried out a school shooting that left one student dead and eight injured. McKinney told investigators bullying over gender identity was a factor.

2022 – Colorado Springs, Colorado
Anderson Lee Aldrich, who authorities said identified as nonbinary, opened fire inside a LGBTQ+ nightclub, killing five people.

2023 – Nashville, Tennessee (Covenant School)
Audrey Hale, who police identified as a transgender man, killed six people, including three children.

2025 – Minneapolis, Minnesota (Annunciation Catholic Church)
Robin Westman, who authorities said identified as a transgender, killed two children during a church service before dying by suicide.

2026 – Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia
Jesse Van Rootselaar, who police say identified as trans, allegedly killed eight people, including five students and one teacher, before dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

2026 – Pawtucket, Rhode Island
Robert Dorgan, who police say identified as a transgender, also known as Roberta Esposito, killed three people, including family members, before taking his own life.

I think if they truly want to "stop the violence", this is where they need to start. Starting with the leftists/socialists/trans in society. They tried twice, and now 3 times to assassinate President Trump. Mangioni is another example. BLM, Anqueefa, etc. These are the groups with a proven proclivity for violence.

So I count 7, which is half of what it took Colorado to start working on outlawing 3D printers. So, does that mean 7 more transgender mass shooters and Colorado will initiate legislation to outlaw transgenderism, which even I think is a bridge too far since transgenderism is a mental health issue? But if they ARE actually true to their intentions, that’s exactly what Colorado legislatures “should” do. If they don’t, no doubt it’s about “control”, and not just “gun” control!

Then again, most of us already know that’s what it’s about.

Of course its a mental health issue and the surgery should be outlawed as should those who perform it. Allowing it to continue is like passing out knives in prison
I say if you want to as an adult, that is on you and you pay for it. Should be illegal for children. Just like abortion, if you want one YOU pay for it. Not me. Not my tax money. YOU. And, as a mental health issue, should be treated as such on the 4473.

We dont handout knives or rope to suicidal subjects "because they want to..." even if they are adults

YES it should be a 4473 issue

NO it shouldnt be an insurance or tax paid cost

The American Psychiatric Association has a lot of the blame. It started when they "normalized" homosexuality and that happened when their ranks swelled with homosexuals. Honestly I dont care who you swop spit with; but when you make it my problem, I develop an opinion.

I don't disagree with you. This all started when they did that, and it was planned. So they could open the doors for every other perversion. We are going to have to make some very serious decisions regarding mental health and opening up facilities to house these individuals. We are going to have to make the tough decisions to permanently institutionalize those who refuse to treat their condition and refuse to take their meds. We don't want these institutions spiraling into the absolute hell holes they became back in the day, with experiments, and abuse of the patients.

My Exwife is a psychiatrist and a board member of the APA. I got to meet the movers in the field and I went back to school for psych studies when I was a cop because I found it was a great help when dealing with stuff on the street. There are good people there BUT there are plenty of clueless loons as well. I once got into an argument with a few at a conference because I said I was more concerned with the crime victims of heroin addicts then the addicts. They became angry because I said no one held the addicts down and shoved a needle in their arm BUT the addicts broke into peoples houses and stole their property and sometimes worse. Suddenly I was a bad guy because I didnt care about the addicts

That being said I do think the mental health field has a bad publicity problem. When we think of mental health patients the image goes to Jack Nicolson in The Shinning and One Flew Over The CooKoos next, not the many Vets who were diagnosed with PTSD instead of being allowed to decompress before being sent back to the world. We send cops whove been involved in a shooting to a "shrink" instead of taking them for a steak and a drink and telling them "good job, you did what you were supposed to do and got to come home"

I think it’s easy for folks to claim a “condition,” in an effort to escape responsibility. And yes, they have a bad publicity problem which doesn’t help.

We have “treatment “ courts now where, if you qualify, often by obscure metrics, you plead guilty, but if you do all you’re supposed to do according to the individual plan, you get your case dismissed at three end of your probation period. Think of it as remaining out on bond for years.

I’m not convinced it works when you look at the long term recidivism stats.
