I purchased this gun 2 years ago I have put around a thousand rounds through this gun I had no malfunctions whatsoever I used about every different type of ammunition out on the market including the plus p ammunition I have not had one issue with this gun at all to me probably the best single stacked 9 mm ever made they say something about the magazine size. ProMag makes a magazine that will fit the xd-e that holds up to 12 to 13 rounds it's a clean shooting pistol with the grip zone which fits my hand great you don't need more than eight rounds extremely pleased with this gun very well made
