I looked at the Garrison, I like it. But I also just bought a Tisas US 1911 A1, so I couldn't justify buying the Garrison. I got a deal I couldn't walk away from on the SA-35; 575.00 plus tax.

Not sure I'm in the right forum but here goes.
The Springfield Echelon 4.5 has been on my radar for a couple years now. As I was viewing different offerings, "GRAB A GUN" seemed to have the best deals from Springfield. So, the purchase was made. It came with an inexpensive optic, which will be changed out soon, five (5) magazines and a range bag. Unlike many nowadays, who don't clean a new gun before going to the range, I do. In a few days I'll do an initial 300rnd break-in and sight in the optic. Every Springfield "XDm" I've had in the past has been extremely accurate, especially my "XDm 10mm. I'm hoping to have the same "pin point" accuracy from the Echelon. We'll see!
