My Dad and he’s friends Flat Out Hated Jane Fonda. I didn’t understand why then because i was a kid.
It wasn’t until years later that I really understood what that Bitch did. I was raised around Military Veterans. Many served during the Korean and Vietnam wars. It was a very Pro-Military environment.
She should be strapped to that Anti-Aircraft gun she sat behind and dropped from a C-130 from 1400 feet right into the Gulf of Tonkin😡

The older I get the more trouble I have doing this, especially when they start "speaking out". It annoys me to no end, no matter which side they are on. Shut up and sing, dance, act, play ball drive the damn car. I'm giving you my hard earned $$ to be entertained. If I want preaching, I'll go to church. If I want educating, I'll go to school.
 
1984, DMZ in the ROK. The North Koreans played music and propaganda acrost the border constantly. July 4th some bright star came up with the idea to return the favor. They blasted over the boarder "Born In The USA" over, and over, and over, all bleeping night long. After about an hour I would have cheerfully shot Springsteen, Brightstar, and every sob that signed off allowing it. Hell Leavenworth is a lot closer to Maine than Panmunjom, Win-Win.

I went to Korea once. It was for the Team Spirit exercise. I was in the 9th Infantry Division so we were the Light Infantry contingent. I HATED THAT PLACE! I broke 3 E-Tools trying to dig fighting positions. We humped those Friggin Yamas all night long. Got into position just before dawn but had to move. This happened time after time.

I'm a guy who can separate art from the artist. I know that a lot of the bands/artists I like, love even, are liberals. I like it better when they don't go on unhinged rants, but it isn't going to influence me a bit about whether I like their music or would purchase it. Bruce Springsteen is one of the most overrated musicians/acts on the planet. I can't imagine anyone calling him the boss. And so we're clear, I hated his music long before I knew anything about his politics.

Well said. I don't let others views shape my opinion of them either, and have no problem separating the person and the view. I generally look at their behavior and how they interact with people. Plus I know I'm the smartest Bastard in the room. :D

If I've ever forced to go to Vegas, and you're there also, I'll go to Battlefield Vegas, Machinegun Vegas and the Machinegun Experience, while you're in the front row of the Liberace Tribute Concert. :sneaky:

Just don't knock over too many old ladies when you all rush the stage. :whistle:
