The tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum will be a problem for domestic manufacturing prices. Manufacturing here will still take a price hit. If there's something you want, get it now.

Well, I don't dispute buying American being a good thing for Americans. But Pittsburgh steel will cost more than Tianjin steel, so newer Missouri rifles will still cost more than older Missouri rifles. Are there gun companies in Missouri? I'm not looking forward to what my next JP is going to cost in a couple months.

Back when I was in the carps, in the 80s before the housing bust, I remember clearly the sentiment being that we were all willing to pay a little more for American made goods and products. The union I'm in now don't give AF about anything except taking my $130/month in dues. Sad. I'll still pay more for US made stuff. And I think a lot of other people would too.
We can and will overcome any obstacle to obtain any "equipment" needs that may arise. Heck, who ever thought they could afford $200.00/mo for cable TV with internet? We AMERICANS are some bad mofo's.

As long as people understand that's what's going to happen. I can absorb a 25%-50% price increase far better than most so it's not really a thing on my end but I see how it can be quite tough for a lot of people.
