stock choices

do you favor 1 type of stock (not brand) over another depending on barrel lengths or just use what ever there is? most probably use carbine for their flexibility and some just like fixed lengths of rifle. within those choices you can only use buffers that only work in those systems..................well, partially true if you know the combos in the ar15 and ar10 parts including the a5's.

I like these three the best

I would say it deepens on the purpose of the rifle. Its hard to beat the Honey badger style if you want ultimate minimal size.

As a general "Carbine" I like the original Colt version (think XM 177E2 or DOE)
Its sleeker than the M4

Magpul CTRs aren't the same as they were 15 years ago. Back then they locked up TIGHT, today's iterations, not so much.

No matter who made the buffer tube.

Magpul has gotten complacent, just like every other Gubment contractor.

Just because they supply the troops, doesn't mean our troops best interests are considered.

That goes way beyond furniture!

If its about type, dont discount a LAW Tactical folding adapter for your AR if you want to make it more compact. There are other similar brands but I only trust Law Tactical
