Took the longest shot yet on a whitetail buck with the 350 Legend yesterday morning. 140 yards. Was a bit further than I thought it was gonna be. The bullet, the rifle, and me all did our jobs and the deer went down with one clean shot. I was surprised to see the bullet didn’t exit though. It completely smashed the off side front shoulder but it didn’t come out. I guess at that range it may have been losing some momentum. Beautiful crisp morning in the woods though. Kinda sorry it was such a quick hunt. Was back home drinking coffee in two and a half hours.
