I prefer tanto style points on knives. When i was younger the tips of 3 "regular" type pocket knives snapped off. They were flea-market knives... but tanto tips look cooler and make Lanskying them a little easier for me.

I am sorry, but that knife just does not work for me. I really find it to be very inadequate. There are a lot of reasons why that ring poses a hazard to the holder and the grip size is just far too small to work. There are dozens of knives that I would use for self defense above that thing.

Yep. A hawkbill karambit fixed blade would be my choice

If you wanted to go back to your firearm and this thing is on your finger I could see that causing a problem / getting in the way.

I would rather have any of these any day.
