Pardoned isn't the same as exonerated, Pardoned means the conviction still stands....

It's no victory.

Vacated is way better, pardoned is along the same lines as having the sentence commuted........

Respectfully that’s not true. A Presidential Pardon OA above having a sentence commuted. A Pardon actually expunges the federal charges and the person gets all rights back, firearms, voting etc What doesn't give them their firearms voting and such would be a a commuted sentence.

In the case of a federal charges and there of no path to restoring firearms rights without a Presidential Pardon. The good news on that is thwre has been traction to change that the last couple years and the new AG is trying to change it to an expungement like states have on state charges.
