I'm fairly skilled with a rifle after some schooling from the USMC but mostly from lots of practice. my cousin wants to shoot well. he has a good rifle but bad habits and results. I also want to be more involved with my nephew and neice and teach them to shoot with a 10/22. where do you start with teaching a new shooter or an unskilled shooter with two much time learning bad habits? safety training has been done. i figured trigger control and building a stable position prone or with only a bag and maybe a bipod. i only use a harris bipod and a cabelas rear bag for fclass outings and do pretty good. monkeying around with soda cans i just go standing or prone unsupported. im not sure how to start training folks up to shoot with precision
