I must still be dreaming. The righteous shooter is not 21 but is over 18, but not allowed to carry because he is not allowed a permit. But the system is all okey-dokey with his being the hero.

I enjoyed the luxury of a time where you turned 18 and you were an adult, period. In all things. There isn't anything magical about turning 21 that makes you smarter. IMHO, ymmv.

Liberal state and liberal judge. They couldn't get him for the shooting so they had to find something else to charge him with. After all, you can't allow good people to stand up for themselves without punishment.

Same here in most of even lebtard Maine. The exception being Boston north AKA Portland and even then, he has better than a 50% shot. There are just too many trees/much forest for judges to be too stupid, though they are getting braver.
This. Why such activity sure violates the rights of innocent thugs-can you just imagine what would happen if every thug/goblin got shot while plying his trade? Why, they’d go out of business! You can’t have that, it’d make the left look bad….

well, because LOTS of trouble happens IN THE MALL.....
my city's mall, Providence Place Mall, has been a well known gathering "joint" for a very long time...
"the corner stores" the bedrock of the mall, have left one by one. smaller store there have opened and left in even shorter time.
lack of private security (yet they charge you for parking) and lack of the mall owner(s) hiring the police......
many people do not even go there any more, yet it still exists.
