The Canik MC9 Prime Radian is somewhat of a rarity because it's the only handgun on the market that comes with a Radian Ramjet from the factory, along with a few other accessories. The Radian Ramjet does its job of taming any muzzle rise along with the majority of felt recoil. The regular slide is slightly shorter to allow the ramjet to fit better without hanging over the frame. The MC9 Prime Radian also comes standard with an optics cut to install your favorite red dot, along with night sights standard from the factory.

Talyn - need the height, weight and length for the dimensions. That it looks nice - yes, probably runs well too. The price seemed to peeve some of the commentators under the review. Also one of the comments noted the somewhat shortish barrel for a pistol of that size. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'd have to try it out to see for myself.

They had one of these at the shop here, i didn't ask to look at it closer as i have enough Caniks. I remember when Canik first came here, you could buy one at a great price. not so much anymore. they are higher than any other Turkish guns.
 
Canick makes the METE MC9 Prime in the US.

Canik manufactures firearms in the United States.
  • Facility Location: Canik established a manufacturing plant in West Palm Beach, Florida, operating through its Canik USA division.
  • Start of Production: Mass production at the Florida facility officially began in December 2024.
  • First U.S.-Made Model: The first major pistol built at the plant is the Canik METE MC9 Prime, a micro-compact 9mm hand-gun that debuted at the 2025 SHOT Show.
  • Production Scope: The plant focuses initially on handguns and plans to expand into medium-caliber weapons and heavy machine guns to support U.S. commercial, law enforcement, and military contracts.
