Well, just saw on the news a Harvard scientist is now saying “a giant alien ship is approaching and may be here as early as fall. Its flight pattern clearly indicates intelligent control”. . Didn’t think sending a map out there to see who/what’d find it was a good idea. The loonies all gonna be either “the sky is falling, it’s the end of the world” or “they’re coming here to help us (you know, like the Europeans helped the natives in the Americas). Me? I’m betting they’re coming to make a trade deal with the Donald

I think the TV signal from the original Star Trek series...

finally reached a planet with beings with space travel capabilities. They were so impressed with the Federation starships they decided to set out for us, albeit slow. So over the years they've been watching the follow-on movies and other ST series signals, but wondering why they haven't seen any Federation starships on the way.

Boy are they going to be disappointed when they get here.

That guy is a bit of a numpty and pretty sure he has made similar claims about “objects” in the past. Yea, its hyperbolic orbit is clearly not the same as any other comet . But this comet apparently has the booty probes….which why in the heck is that a thing. Of all things aliens want to know about us it’s in our butt hole? So weird. People are dumb
