Sometimes salt & pepper is all you need for good venison. But there is a time & place for marinade too. These 8 recipes make for tender, flavorful dishes.

I have some venison chops (that's what the processor labelled them as) marinating in a red wine, chopped garlic, and a South Dakota seasoning called Wooley's (the mister puts that :poop: on everything...I went real light with it though). When I get around to cooking them, they will have been in the marinade for six hours.
 
I generally stick to SPG (salt, pepper and garlic), but occasionally use Mr. Yashidas, Country Pleasin grillin' and chillin' or Hoover Sauce. All 3 of those have a sweet molasses type base.
