Im NOT defending the judge by any means. Im simply saying (according to the news) that he was/is on suicide watch and that means a solitary (ok single cell) and no paperwork in the cell and (again according to the news) no internet contact with his family. The lawyers assertion was that limiting contact and paperwork hinders his legal defense; whether thats valid or not is up to the judge

What is not up to the judge is to compare his treatment to the J6ers on the record

Respectfully, (and I am not saying you mean to) the problem is with words. The media throws around terms like Solitary and paint everything with that broad brush (like Assualt rifles) and peolme want that have no basic understanding other than what a news article calls it and it sticks make comments.

The other issue with the Judge and several have done this)
They also make comments at face value on what the accused attorney says and that’s also nit always the case (they fabricate BS believe it or not)

Had the Judge done some Simone research he would know there is no denial of legal council or family contact. Can it be delayed for a “reasonable” time? YES but most Federal holdovers at county jails and every one within BOP facilities they are governed by ACA or American Correctional Association rules. There are inspections every 3 years as well as BOP Program Teview every 6-18 months (depending on results) and everything is public record that advocacy groups do FOIA requests all the time so if there was a “violation” thwre would be a price to pay as the hawks would see it.

Soooo heres a question is this guy (or all three of them) clinically batshite loopy OR just duped by the left? We've had crazies' since ole' Cain killed Abel but we used to deal with them, heck you used to be able to pay a few coins and go to the crazy houses and watch them play with their poop

We used to deal with them because the Mental Health folks thought of them as "crazy" then sometime in the 80s we closed down state psychiatric facilities where they were call patients and switched to private for profit facilities which began calling them Clients (BTW this is the same time when they removed homosexuality as a clinical diagnosis) Today these clients are pushed to the street so the facilities can charge the tax payers for out patient services AND every kid that just needs his parents to smack his *** is given some mind altering meds...and the world keeps turning

Woah brother. I wasnt being obtuse, intentional or otherwise. You were responding with one word comments, Im sure in reference to other posts but it wasnt clear. If asking you for clarifications upsets you then perhaps you might want to consider that your posts werent...clear. I could have ignored them but I thought you might have a valid point so I asked for....clarification.

Frankly Im still not sure why you think a judge should stay out of ALL.....Penal Institutions especially when as it turns out, that was part of the defense argument, so it does kinda make it where he is supposed to be.

Im trying to remain calm and I hope you dont really want me to bite you, just trying to hear your point

Which Christians, the Faux Christians who wave their hands in the air who sometimes fall down blabbering or the ones that use scripture to demand compliance from others and to form excuses for themselves or just the ones who attend social hour in front of the Jumbotron? Surely, he doesn't really hate anyone other than the blasphemes followers of the antichrist.

Now me, I'm not prejudice at all, I dislike everyone about the same, and in my neck of the woods, if I didn't speak to hypocrites I'd have no one to speak to.

I assume he hates all manner of Christians, faux or otherwise. Maybe he was guided by the ghost of Osama Bin Layin.

If an inmate became disruptive or tried to self mutilate themselves the Operations LT could put them in 4 point restraints or ambulatory (ambulatory restraints were basically a set of trip iron).

With self mutilators we normally 4 pointed them as woth ambulatory they can still run their head into the cell wall (and a lot did)

As far as the claim of 5 point thwre was never really a 5 point but we would sometimes put a helmet on if they were a head banger.
MWD had to get authorization for continuance from the Warden for longer tjan 2 hours and they were checked every 15 min by staff 2 hours by a LT and 4 hours by medical and documentation was out the ying yang

Suicide watch was everyday either staff or inmate
Mentors were out on them watching 24/7

Corrections is a "Many Splendored Thing" for sure! I always got a kick out of them taking one of the big names out of ADX with the procession of Expeditions and then the little white shitbag sedans that were the 'mobile perimeter.'

Let me break down the Latin. In the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) out of 122 institurions only about 10-13 are high security. The bulk are low or mediums. At US Penitentiaries (high security for the Feds woth several Max custody) and the ADX everyone is a Max custody and they have some inmates designated as a Special Administrative Management (SAM) SAM inmates can only be designated SAM by the US Attorney General)

All of the ADX inmates most of Death Row inmates at USP Terre Haute and any SAM inmates are a BOP SORT only move (Special Operations Response Team) for increased added Security. Sakarya teams are a Spexial duty with a rigorous tryout and selection process and we trained several times a month with at least once usually two days in the range and snipers had a separate range day.

Only USP’s and Federal Correctional Complexes (FCC’s) and a couple Medium Federal Correctional Institutions (FCI’s) that are geographically separated have SORT Teams SORT is the lethal force option that do emergency response, high risk escorts and will routinely get activated to assist US Marshals or other Government entities. Several were in Minneapolis assisting with securing the Federal Buildmg during the January 2026 ICE protests. They have went to Portland and Minnesota and Washington DC in the 2020 summer of love protests, Florida, Texas and the 2024 hurricane relief through Asheville NC to supplement Marshals and other agencies.

I spent 20 years at a USP and about 15 in SORT doing a lot of the above.
