If you look at Cities like Chicago this has been a problem whether Democrat or Republican run.

Yes , the Last Republican Mayor of Chicago was totally corrupt , and very mobbed up .

But Big Bill Thompson left office in 1931 , and it has been all Dems ever since .

The murder rate in 1930 at the height of the Prohibition Era Gang Wars was 14.6 / 100K . About half of the rate in 1990 , and 1/3 less than recent years .

If you look at Cities like Chicago this has been a problem whether Democrat or Republican run. I lived in a suburb of Chicago until I escaped. The ONLY time I remember the South Side being safe for White Faces was shortly after the riots when Martin Luther KIng got shot. Looting and burning everywhere until Mayor Daily gave the order to shoot looter's and arsonists. The streets were quite 24 hours later. My Uncle was a Fire Marshall and he said every Fire Crew had one member carrying a shotgun and the authority to use it. Since then the situation is the worst it's ever been. You can blame the Right or the Left, but the situation is the same.

Can’t EVER recall anyone but the Dems in charge in Chicago (and I’m 75). I’ve been gone from the DPRI for 40 years but my parent were there for their entire lives. The D’s ruined Chicago and have screwed over/ran the state forever.

Chicago is known for corruption since it was founded. As a person that lived around Chicago and loves history. Chicago lives up to its name “stinking onion”.

Alaska has thousands of islands grouped into an archipelago called the Aleutian Islands that would make a great place to relocate criminals who needed a new permanent home.
