According to a criminal complaint filed today, Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, conspired and attempted to provide material support to ISIS and obtained firearms and ammunition to conduct a violent attack on U.S. soil in the name of ISIS. As part of the plot, the defendant allegedly took steps to liquidate his family’s assets, resettle members of his family overseas, acquire AK-47 assault rifles and ammunition, and commit a terrorist attack in the United States.

Yep, we housed a bunch of them here at the local Air Force base back them and lots of them just got up and left--never to be found. Wonder if this idiot was one of them. This is what happens when you just let anyone into the country.

Mine used to keep my ammo supply depleted. were going to a gun show this Saturday. we went to one couple weeks ago and one bought a Zavasta AK. both of them are wheelers and dealers. he got it at a really good price. they both are just like me when i was there age. ( which may not be a good thing in some eyes.lol ) They are always building engines and making things. one took welding course and welds on things a lot. They built a go cart chassis and put a huge engine on it. still working on it. think they are building an axle now for it.
 
I wonder with the DOJ past practice since he got stopped before he followed through on his plan they will release him because of the lefts bail reform.

Funny how history repeats itself. Dad was a USMC WWII, and Korea vet. As a very young child I got "instruction" in firearms and much else. Back then it was concern about race wars and 1968 only confirmed his beliefs, even though nothing came close to us. Yes, dad was a racist, he had a near pathological hatred of the French. Everyone else was judged as an individual.
 
My daughter hates guns, I've never really had the discussion with her husband but neither one of them or would anybody here would call "Gun people".

The reason that I'm saying that is because the last time we were out at the ranch SIL pulled me to the side and started asking me about home defense weapons.

I'm not even sure exactly how to say this because it's a broad topic but DD has always thought that Mom and I were a little bit over the top conspiracy theorists.

When we moved here I told her that her mother and I both were convinced that in about 5 years (from the time we moved in) the world was going to lose its mind.

She thought I was crazy, 7 years later Covid happened. She came over to our house during the middle of the lockdowns and I asked her do you remember that conversation that we had and she said she did and I pointed out that I had only missed by 2 years.

Over the last couple years she has been working on a plan to move everybody in the family to the ranch.

She's been acquiring livestock and she's taking up canning. She wants to put three more houses on the property and as I mentioned she wants everybody to move out there.

Somewhere along the line when we weren't paying attention DD has become a prepper.

And now they are wanting to bring those Hamas folks here… I mean what could possibly go wrong🙄. I’ve said for months now I expect us to be attacked, hard, here at home between Election Day and Inauguration Day, regardless of who wins. It won’t happen before ‘cause that would through support toward the Donald, but afterwards while sleepy Joe’s still at the switch, hang on. I pray I’m wrong, but open borders with unrestricted access by folks who hate us almost certainly will have bad outcomes

A family member of the Afghan national arrested last week on charges of planning a mass terrorist act in Oklahoma on Election Day was arrested and charged in France on Saturday for planning to conduct terrorist attacks on either a French soccer match or a shopping center, according to NBC News.
