The First School Massacre

Not to detract from the seriousness of this event, I think the guy that knifed 11 at a Walmart demonstrates the same…it doesn’t take a firearm to perpetrate a massacre.

And the Walmart perpetrator was a “not quite there” perpetrator. Four focused individuals could have easily made those 11 victims into fatalities instead of injured casualties.

Violent people have always existed and always will. This story is but a single good example. Does anyone doubt that a large enraged man with a baseball bat couldn’t walk into a classroom and kill a bunch of innocents? The problem has nothing to do with weapons and everything to do with deranged/evil People.

To prove the point, the Bath Twp Michigan school massacre in 1927 killed 38 children and 6 adults. It was a bombing using explosives and gasoline. The perpetrator was a former school board member. BTW, the Columbine school shooting was supposed to be a bombing but the detonator failed and the guns were plan B. The Alfred Murrah bombing bombing in Oklahoma City in 1995 killed 168 and wounded almost 700. It does not take guns to perpetrate a mass murder, only the willingness to do evil. All that said, it is in all our best interest that crazies don't get their hands on firearms.

Also, be careful of a govt with too much power.
Look at Australia.
They are now banning machetes.
Guess landscapers have to give up a tool

Wow, thanks for the post/info. That was an interesting read.

Unfortunately too common anymore people want to blame the tool rather than actually get the root of the issue. We’ve all heard it before but will say it anyway, forks didn’t make me fat 😂
