I recently read an article about a Mannlicher cartridge, the 8 x 50R black powder round.
Looking at the photo, one might get the idea Hornady was doing historical research when the came up with their "precision" designs.
I am still waiting for my Savage in 6mm ARC (also a rimmed design).
