The Nancy Guthrie Case

Dobbinsky

Master Class
Is it just me, or is this editorial something that should have never been published? IMO, other than satiate the nosey, it can only bring harm to the victim and assist the kidnappers. It may give cause to the kidnappers to abandon their quest and eliminate the woman.
I've included only the initial paragraph. BTW, I don't follow this case like a soap opera, this happened to give me pause.

Thoughts?

"Josh Ritter, a criminal defense attorney and Fox News contributor, told “FOX & Friends” on Monday morning that paying the alleged Bitcoin ransom for Nancy Guthrie could help investigators track down the 84-year-old’s potential kidnappers.

Ritter said that a Bitcoin transaction “is not as secure as many people may think,” noting that authorities can track that information “way more than we may realize.”

well...i have to wonder if some things are said as a ploy/bluff as well...????

I fear that the woman is already dead. I also wonder if this was actually a kidnapping for ransom or perhaps just some crazy who abducted the woman to kill her. Either way I don't think the kidnapper expected this much media attention and is now scrabbling to cover their tracks. I'm sad to say that I see little hope for her to found alive.

she could have dementia at least the early stages, or Alzheimer's, and took off on her own...

God only knows all the "silver alerts" we have here of such people even younger than her.

i had a relative drive up to the northern parts of N.H., when he would not even drive around the corner....his daughters took hi car away when they went up there to fetch him back........state trooper up there found hom out of gas on the side of the road.

yes, she has mobility problems.......but she could have still run off, just much slower

she could be at the bottom of a swimming pool, here we had a case where a child went into a pool, and no one could see him.... laying on the bottom.....believe it or not.

and now the crackheads are demanding money for something they didn't do.

With the very little actual information available, I have a target for someone who I think is responsible at least in part. I wont say who because it seems ghoulish (and by not saying, I can always say I was right....when they are arrested ;) )

Yes I do think its getting a lot of attention because of who the family is; but we heard reports for weeks about a lot of cases from the "she cut off his penis" to the (fake?) "whites tried to lynch me" and the "crazy guy who got choked out on the subway" and and and.

The sad part is the way the local PD is portraying itself. Are they really that clueless OR does the media only have bits to talk about and concentrate on perceived flaws.

Its also possible that THIS story is a distraction from the Mini-Apple-O-Less crazies

Is she dead? I hope not. Whos involved? Ill tell you later and Ill be right? I can say that Savannah doesnt seem to have brought more than one black shirt when she flew into AZ to be with her family. and whatever you think of her, she does seem truly distraught. On the plus side, we now know way more about Crypto Wallets....
