Interesting! My grandfather had a revolver that didn't revolve. I don't know if it was a Ruger or what but you took it and you tilted the whole barrel and things sideways to put a .22 long rifle in it it was a single shot.
Looked just like a revolver

Hard saying, It may be that it resembled a revolver and was possibly overlooked or confused with or for something else, like an actual revolver too? After all, it resembled a revolver?

May have been the lack of good sales distribution in your area? Another possible reason? Advertising doesn't always advertise the differences?

Then, with a lower round count? The great accuracy of this pistol may have been overlooked by someone ordering or elsewhere because of it's lower capacity?

Thankfully, sometimes the fond memories from or of those things also become someone else's deeds and memories when those things are passed on?

Yes very true I remember I took my son out to the range with the ruger we had a blast that’s where he said dad it’s like shooting a mini canyon oh yeah!!!
