The p320 plot thickens…

Yes, the 10mm X-Ten is a P320. I have 2 (a X-Ten model and a X-Ten Endure model). As far as I know, the 10mm hasn’t been mentioned as firing unintentionally. My guess is there’s a lot more 9mms out there and most government/law enforcement agencies are using the 9mm caliber models. So it makes sense that they’d be the most involved with any issues.

maybe the frame difference is just enough difference between the slide length and firing mechanism angle? i'm sure there's huge difference in sales between the 2.

Perhaps. I know the FCU on the P320 45acp isn’t interchangeable with the 9mm, 40 & 357 Sig caliber models. I have all 4 calibers that I bought when they first came out. All 4 and a X-Change 40 compact slide were sent back for the VUP modifications.

While maybe some however thwre has been documented issues with Sig having holster oops AND the fact Sig just blamed everyone when it wasn’t like the Glock leg of the late 80’s. That was short lived and was while folks were holstering it drawing as the DA revolvers we transitioned from it was taught to start the heavy DA oil on the Holsters even had the trigger guard cut out.

If it were user error where are the numbers of Glocks and M&Ps going off as they are in greater numbers and carried in the same holsters.

But Sig brand loyalists think hih are calling theor baby ugly whem you say Sig screwed up addressing it

I’ve seen the X-ten model and it is to much for me. Personally I went down the M&P rabbit hole because it’s not as bulky as Glock G20 or the X-10. Plus the price is way cheaper than both. Yes I had issues at first but it’s corrected.

I have all 3 M&P 10mms (5” Performance Center I like the best). I also have all 3 Glock 10mms, the FN510, Sig P220 Hunter in 10mm and several 1911s in 10mm (Colt, Ruger, Dan Wesson, Springfield TRP, etc.). As you may see, I like the 10mm caliber.
 
The only Sig I have is a 556R Xi (7.62x39). It's the last Gen Sig put out after fixing the previous bugs, then they discontinued that whole line.

I've upgraded it a bit, and it runs fine. I don't like the Samson handguns on it, and don't know if there's anything else out there that's better since the 556R Xi was pretty unique & low production.

The only mag the 556R Xi won't take is a Chicom drum.

But I consider it a noticeable step up from the crappy Arsenal (way over-rated) AK that I had & got ride of due it's faults.

I consider my 556R Xi a Tier 2 in my herd.

For years I hammered the Regional Sig rep to just make a US (semi-auto) version of the standard Swiss SG550, since they already existed and were imported into Canada as the PE90.

I told him they'd sell everyone they'd make, and get Magpul to make the mags for it, but he claimed it couldn't be done.

Keep like above but with a pic on the dust cover & it would have been very nice.
