Had a mini for many years. not the most accurate gun but the 5.56 ones i have are ok, the mini 30 is horrible on accuracy.

Mini 14 GB, AC'5.56, and mini 30.

Had a Mini-14 along time ago, but it didn't fit my needs.

But, still an option for those in certain states.

Not the most accurate rifle around but i knew that going in. Besides i live in nj so it was easy for me rather than going through the “legalization” of an AR. I love the “clack” of the Garand action.
I managed an average 1.25” group size from 40 yds off a bag with range ammo and bushnell scope. I wasn’t expecting much better than that.
Ultimately i put a ultimak rail on it and slapped a SPARC II rds on it. So much fun to shoot.

You had a AC 556? Did you have the full auto version?

I've never own a mini 14 but my mini 30 has killed many pigs.

My buddy has killed even more pigs with his 300BLK mini 14.

30 is the bottom one with scope, the ac 5.56 is semi, 3 round burst and full auto. you can see the switch sticking up on the second one
