No complaints with my 45 or 9. Bought one for my Sons, SIL, and GrS and they enjoy theirs as well. Haven't had a real issue with any.

For real world use an old fashioned 1911 is darn tough to beat. Solid, proven, dependable design. Been making good ‘uns out of bad ‘uns for 115 years and only gets better as years go by. Does it hold enough ammo? Yup, unless you’re planning to miss a lot. Seriously the whole hi cap mag dump thing is just a bad idea. The nut on the end of the trigger IS responsible for where every single round winds up. In ANY urban environment sending a dozen rounds down range is almost a guarantee that Something is going to be hit that shouldn’t be (either property or people). Not convinced that’s a good idea..
