the turkeys around here are always like that. i never see any less than 20 together and sometimes up to 50 when there are poults with them. we have a tree line that stretches about 8 miles long with a creek the same length. for my whole life i can't remember any time the trees weren't filled. some were close to the house and others were further down stream (about another 1.5-2 miles). when my grandmother still had her horses (and her still alive) the turkeys would know when it's feeding time. she fed the turkeys more than she fed (amount wise) the horses (they always had enough feed too). there were a few times when i thought the turkeys were going too get in the back of the p/u while i was feeding.

Yes, this thread about wildlife didn't have the mandatory political comment. Thank you for the valuable contribution of adding it. We're all better not appreciating nature and always thinking about politicians.
