Note: Be careful of your hand when racking the slide. The bolt comes right out the back of the receiver and will give you a nasty case of slide bite, or bolt bite if you aren’t paying attention.

Oh God, way back when, 1980s?, AG Russel had a special members monthly flier with guns and knives for sale. They had a 1897 trenchgun which they described as looking internally like it never had been shot, but had a storage rack mark on the barrel. I almost bought it but ended up passing. Who knows why, but I kick myself.

I have one of those old Norinco clones. I have to remind myself to hold it properly when shooting it so I don't get bit by the bolt coming back.

I've never owned one, but I have shot a couple. I do want one, mainly for historic, nostalgic reasons. And it would look good in my collection.
