There is always at least one gun present

Further evidence that open carry is not the panacea that people think it is, and also proves that criminals are not afraid to disarm you of your visible firearm and use it against you. Unless you have the proper retention holster for open carry in public, and are proficient enough to defend yourself to prevent being disarmed in a scuffle/fight, and have enough situational awareness to prevent being casually disarmed, you should just stick to concealed carry. But, I digress.

I agree, weapon retention is my main concern for open carrying.

I’m not a big open carry person because it’s advertised goods. I’ve looked at PD’s (local to state) stuff and they have no clue at times. I understand that they have a job to do and it’s a tool for them. Personally I always have one tucked away even at a range (and wish I wasn’t in city limits so I could go outside away from people at a range).
