Think NASCAR is about dead……

Thought I would watch it today since it’s in Indianapolis, bleachers are pretty empty for a cup race. They ruined the sport with all these stupid rules, stage racing, speed limits on pitting…….old days of NASCAR were the best, it will never be the same….just my thoughts……
I haven't watched NASCAR in many , many years. Just don't get any thrill out of it .

I stopped watching noosecar when they went woke. and trust me i used to love it and even raced myself. i prefer dirt track over asphalt anyway.

I quit watching INDY and NASCAR a long time ago. I think any American racing sport is about dead. We've been NHRA racing enthuiasts for years, even my wife used to enjoy watching her favorite teams and drivers. NHRA is no longer a pure American sport. To much DEI.
Encourage foreigners to create their own racing leagues.

Big racing fan... when I retired from the department, I bought a HD Ultra Limited and followed the IMSA sport car races to almost every track that season. Rode there on the bike, camped, watched the race and road to the next race or home if a break. A one and done bucket list item for me. Still go see the 24 hours of Daytona and 12 hours of Sebring every year, since I live in Florida.

Was a big NASCAR fan back in the days of Davy Allison and back when it was still a more southern sport. Now I get bored easy from it. Will occasionally watch a road race, but ovals are boring. imo

My Q. whatever happened to that SRX series where it was all small tracks, equal cars, and famous drivers. I watched the first 2 seaons and even played the video game they released for it... but must of died after season 2???

What turned me away was when they no longer drag raced a quarter mile…..and supposedly setting records, no, quarter mile is drag racing NHRA……motor sports are not what they used to be….period

When they built Chicagoland Speedway, I went every year until Nascar sold us out for the Chicago street race and now that you lost a ton of money to appease the mayor, they want to come back, sorry you turned your back on us and by the looks of empty seats we have turned our backs on you.
Bring back Indy!!

it was to me, something to watch what was known as Stockcar racing, before NASCAR came along.

i can't say i watched more than about 5 minutes of NASCAR, and never really cared for it since then.

I’ve done the Nascar experience at Tx Motor Speedway now 4 x in 10 years.
No pace car. You run 10 cars out in 30 sec intervals . Actual nascar with a governor on the engine. Run up to 165mph.. only one in US where you dont follow a pace car.
Instructor sits next to you. No brake. No wheel. All he can do is lift your leg off the gas or steer the wheel.

This is the trip where my 19yr old daughter ran the laps.
