This is for the straight wall and 30-30 croud. Rossi and Marlin are the only lever guns I own that fit this bill. What if any change(s) would you do in there guns as only a trigger improvement up to full out tactical? As seen posted before by other members on some crazy off beat stocks that make you say "No way, no how I'm doing that"? 1 might be just adding an ammo sling or something to the buttstock. You want too keep it looking as simple or classic as possible, but improve accuracy with a simple upgraded trigger that doesn't change the look. What would be your limit?

Unfortunately I don’t own one but when I worked there I really like the Guide Gun but I’m not keen on the straight Texas Stock as I prefer the pistol grip, I had gotten permission from my boss to start collecting parts and I had the stock and lower receiver strap but never got the chance to do anything with them before Remington took over. 😢 It would have definitely been a one of.
 
I have a 1970 Marlin 336 like this one ---> https://www.gunbroker.com/item/920847117 There was a time I would never have thought about putting a scope on a lever gun but alas the eyes have gone away. I have a 3 - 9 x scope on mine plus a buttstock shell holder.

The trigger on my rifle is pretty good so no changes there. I did buy a set of Williams peep sights for it but decided I would be better off just putting a scope on it.
 
I am a traditionalist when it comes to my leverguns. I am willing to add a leather sling and possibly a buttstock ammo holder. I refuse to mount a scope or any optics, and would prefer to master the trigger that comes with the gun rather than modify it. I'm somewhat interested in Henry's all-weather Big Boys, but all of the leverguns I own are the standard blued steel and wood design.

I like tactical rifles but am not a fan of the new "tactical" leverguns. I just cannot picture the tactical situation where I would rather have a kitted-out levergun than a fairly standard AR/AK/Mini-14.
 
Besides a different sight, I might add a wrap to my lever handle.
